Ok, look. I'm trying to install ikonboard for my site, but it's so confusing and pretty hard. I'll give you all my fbucks (which I have 201) it you do it for me. and if 201 is not enough, I promise you, I will keep giving you fbucks.

I will give you the login and password for the directory of the FTP. if you want to install it for me. They have an install guide there, just read, but somehow I really don't understand them.
DO NOT OFFER YOURSELF IF YOU DON'T KNOW WHAT YOU'RE DOING.
It's WAY different installing it than installing phpbb, bear that in mind. So, if you think you have the ability to install it. PM me and I'll give you the login and password for the ftp directory.

here's my two cents:
I tried Ikonboard as well, it's a real pain, I couldn't even get it going, and I'm a whiz. (basks in glory, a little ashamed about bragging)
I'd say you should move to SimpleMachines. It's much better than Ikonboard. It's all PHP and not one speck of CGI. I find it's about as good as IPB. Add ons are a breeze with it too!

Edit: If you want, I can set SMF up for you. Let me know what you think.
(I can give IkonBoard a shot too, if you still want it.)

heh, I know this is too late to reply too

but I set up ikonboard at last! it was a pain and a friend of mine helped me out.

And btw, at that time, I already had SMF, but I don't like SMF as much at all.

then I guess that's up to him to figure it out. It was not that easy... I even know some people who are very smart folks who said it was pretty hard to install it.

You'd at least get one error while trying to set it up. Tiring, but I went through it. And it's so worth it! It's about as good as IPB, and to be honest.. I prefer it a little more then IPB. and ikonboard is free and IPB costs money
