Hey everyone. This is a unique deal, I think. No, I'm not offering a forum hosted at forumer, but rather an IPB forum 2.3.1 hosted on my server with its own domain name. Here's the scoop:

A few years back, I started a forum with a one year copy of Invision Power Board, and a new domain name. The forum has since died, as have the IPB updates, but since the original copy is still on my server I can legally use it for as long as I want. Also, the domain is still active until May.

So anyways, this site is just taking up space on my server. It's a real shame, because I'd love for someone to do something with it, and make it popular again. So that's where you come in. I guess I have to put a price on this (I really don't care about these fBucks), but I guess I will start and auction at 100 fb and let it go for a few days. If you are interested in this, please just PM me or write here. If more than one person is interested, I would gladly hand control over to multiple people. Any further questions should go here. And just to clarify, all you will be receiving is full admin to the IPB control panel... Maybe FTP (haven't decided yet). Anyways, happy bidding, and feel free to contact me with any questions

What if one person 'does a rambo', and bans the other admins in control. I suspect that IPB does have protection by only allowing the root admin to ban other admins. So the root admin could ban the other admins.

Of course it has, even the one we host has that feature... unless you have more people in the root admin group (then they can ban each other) any other admin group has restricted Admin CP access...

I own the whole site and you won't have control of the site, just the IPB control panel. If you go Rambo, site goes away.
