If you put "Force guests to log in" off,probaly more people will join so they can see your board and see how it looks.You can do that if you want.Im not telling you to do it or anything but you can to get more guests

I've only recently started a board & I found a useful thing to do was to set up some forum's which guests can see which describes what's inside the site.

It's a very tricky compromise to reach. I have now gone back to forcing log-in though as I found too many people were just coming and leeching.

Simply go to:

Admin Cp > Security & Privacy > Force guests to log in before allowing access to the board > Select 'Yes'.
