what size would they need to be resized to

because im in the middle of uploading a 4500 x 4900 px img just for my forum background, because 2500 was too small

would you know a exact estimate on the size needed for a background replacement?



edit: and even that still shows too small .....jeeze

well then you must have a huge monitor.... Can't believe that an image of that size would be small

my monitor displays 1280 by 800 px, so that would cover it for me.... but for people with smaller monitors it would be cut off..... and for people with larger one, it will be too small

the best is to either make a gradient image which would fade out ...... or a small one and set it to repeat, that way they would look good on any size of monitor...

idk i only have a 22" samsung, but the thing looks small for some reason
any clue on why

yea i think its because of me having just a free account with photobucket im not sure

yea i see that, i believe its a limitation of my photobucket account maybe



Edit: i tried it with another pic this time sized to 1600x1200 and did the same thing as above and the pic only is being showed as half the actual resolution so its my photobucket

i got it to work with imageshack so its at full res now, thatnk for your help in the beginning
