this is the screen shot of the forum,
what i want to do is have idividual sections instead of the one big section saying forum
would like to make individual sections like

site info, then have the welcome section , then the forum information sections. then have a vehicle section with bits like photo of your van, and vehicle technical, bit liek chapters in a book.

sorry if i have confused you more lol

See my test forum. Is this what you mean?

You will make some more categories and assign them as "parents" to some of the forums then it will be split into more sections....

No, you just click "edit" by the forum you want to move to another category and then assign it a different "parent"

ACP -> Forums -> Manage Forums -> first create your Category -> New Forum - Forum type: Category, Parent forum: No parent -> set your options and Submit, then set the permissions so it would be visible to whom you want...

When you done that, go back to "Manage Forums", Click on the "Edit" image next to the forum you want to move to your newly created category change the "Parent Forum" and click on "Submit" and it will move.

instead of selecting it as a forum, select it as a category, and no parent.
