I cannot use HTML in the forum descriptions of my phpBB3 forum?
Do I have to use BBCode?

This article is very helfpu8l and when you substitude the HTML used for the youtube video, it is very easy.

I was not talking about that.
I was talking about adding HTML to forum descritptions.
If you have a look at Discussion Land, and see the voting section, you'll see what I mean.

Discussion Land is phpBB2, which forum is phpBB3?

Since you posted this in the phpBB3 section.

Even if you do you want add code in the forum description, you can use the custom bbcode tags in the forum description, and it will still work.

I was referring to the descriptions from my phpBB forum.
But phpBB3 does not allow me to add HTML.

I think HTML code in forum descriptions might have been disabled for security reasons as part of phpBB3 as standard.

Sorry, but BBCode does work.
