This question has been answered many times already.

There will be an announcement made when there is more info about how it will be done.

P.S: Limez said that by the end of the first quarter, and the start of the second quarter he would get phpBB3 ready.
So you can expect to upgrade anytime soon.

No, phpBB3 was released way back, I believe somewhere in November. But Limez needs to not only make it compatible with Forumer, but then deal out any bugs, as well as develop an upgrade method.

This is an allied clan that has a phpbb site...can you tell me from looking if it is phpbb 3? I like the simple clean look to it, and the color scheme has a nice background.

I currently have adinfinitum, and love it, but I think it could be polished up with softer colors and such. Are there plans to have something similar to that in phpbb3?

You should be able to edit the skins, with CSS etc, but it is undecided for now.

Also, could you post that email you received?

I know on my hosted board (Hosted myself) I am using phpb3 as it has been released for a while. My clan server uses this and will be happy when the upgrade comes.
