I think Limez or fSupport said we won't get template editing until we are out of the BETA stage, since there are some security reasons.

That makes the most sense, and I am pretty sure that is the reason why we cannot edit HTML Templates yet.

Even I had the same question.
It turns out that you can verify your phpBB forum only in phpBB3, by adding the meta tags.

Those are meta tags, for keywords.
But there are known glitches with adding meta tags in phpBB or IPB forums. The best thing I suggest is we all beg Limez to allow us to upload the verification file for Google and Yahoo.
