Default I cant access my admin panel or forum

I cant access my forum or admin panel it says my password is incorrect but i havent changed it and also i tried giving myself admin back but it just said there was a problem so i cant login or do anything on my forum can you help please?

it has this problem if i try giving a new account admin also

what steps do you take to make an admin?

This is how you should do it:

ACP -> Permissions -> Global permissions -> click on Users' permission -> Write "user name" in the Look up user section then click on Submit -> from the Select type: drop down menu chose Admin permissions and click on Go then from the Role drop down menu chose Full admin(or anything else according to what you want) and click on Apply all permissions.

i cant access the acp. as it wont let me login so i created a new user account and used fap to try and create that user as a admin so i could login to the acp. but in fap i just get the error i posted and it wont let me make another user the admin or even myself a admin. Im pretty stuck at the moment as i can only login as a registered user and cant change any settings on the forum. It seems the only way to give another user admin rights without loging into the acp isnt working. has anyone else had any issues with fap?
