Please request for google ads for the time being. I'll try to check with Limez again on how to solve this 3-rd party ads issue.

With best regards,

I think we should get more ads with viruses.

My business depends on it!

My members and myself are still getting ads that BOMBARD them with attempted cookies. We're talking minutes to deny all of the different individual sites that they original from at a single attempt. The problem will clear up for a day or two and then start all over again.

I've also noticed that whenever I see this particular ad: (Don't worry, I pulled it off of a screen shot)
http://bstsearch.com/www/delivery/ck...//nterzone.com

I have a REALLY hard time navigating to another page. For some reason, the ad is preventing navigation. I frequently have to cancel the page load and retry 2-3 times before it will work. I've gotten into the habit of opening the next link in a new tab just so that I can close the previous one without hassle.

Whomever the new sponsor(s) is/are, they're a menace.

IMHO, if the hosting site allows these sort of banner ads to be displayed upon forums on THEIR hosting service then FORUMER should be held liable for any and all damages incurred by any user(s) who have had their systems infected....and I am sure there are literally thousands of attorneys who would agree.

If I was forumer's owner I would take measures to ensure your subscribers are kept safe and virus free from any and all infections made by the ads you allow to be hosted therein.

Now I'm getting relentless redirects and warnings that an untrusted site is attempting to open other sites!

The banner that I posted above also continues to load information in the background and return the user to the top of the page rather than allowing them to scroll down for more than 2 seconds. And that particular banner is ALWAYS present! I get a different banner about 0.5% of the time.

The game site sponsor (nter zone.com), at the very least, needs to be removed! I'm sure there are others.

Link is in Kurisu's post.
Or Forumer could monitor their sponsors' ads since their reputation is directly effected by the content and/or effects on viewers' computer.

I remember GeoCities having similar problems and because of that I haven't been to a GeoCities page in over 10 years. It'd really suck for Forumer to allow themselves the same reputation.

A lot of people are having a problem and specific ads have been identified as the source. Simple.

Most likely it's a purchased package, & the ads are not individually selected, or even made aware.

When one buys into an ad system, the ads are placed programatically (atomically) & it is whatever it is.

Yes, we are plugged into multiple networks which serve thousands of different banners.

Ever since the report of 'redirecting ads' started, I have been trying to find out which ad network this is being served from.

It is very hard for me to find out where this is coming from.

Today I changed the way the ads are loaded , maybe that will help with redirection. Please let me know if you still are experiencing the redirections. We need more information about the source of the bad ads, so that I can complain to the right ad network about the advertiser and make sure they blockout the bad advertiser.

actually I just saw that redirecting ad myself finally. But it started redirecting quickly, i didn't get a chance to at least copy the source of the banner.

Now i keep reloading, but its not showing it again. If you can , please grab the source of the banner. It might help identifying which network its coming from.

After more investigations, I think I might have been able to isolate the suspected network which loads this bad advertiser.

I need you to keep your eye on the ads and let me know, if you still get a redirection.

Thanks for letting us know. I have NoScript installed on fire fox so I don't get any ads but I didn't notice any redirects on other browsers nor have I heard of any from my members. However I am using my account's credits to disable ads so I won't be able to help you there.
