Default Avatars problem

My forum is at http://spiritofold.49.forumer.com. The problem is that no-one can upload (or link off-site, or upload from another site) any avatars. We have changed size settings, methods of uploading/linking, ensuring the pics are a small enough file size and still no luck.

I've emailed Wild Cat the log in details so you can take a look. Thanks for your help

Can you check your settings:

ACP -> General -> Avatar settings -> set all to yes, set the preferred size and click on Submit

Edit:

I have just tested your forum

well the Link off site works as you can see in the Test account profile,
I will report the upload issue, but we do know about that, we have the same problem on server 50 and we are working on it.
Once a solution is found we will implement it on both servers.

I have this new forum:
http://debattsidan.49.forumer.com/

I got the same Avatar problem there. All the relevant options are set to "yes". I have tried to upload an avatar both in gif and jpg, and also been careful with pixel sizes. The failure message is always:

"The upload was rejected because the uploaded file was identified as a possible attack vector."

I have read that servers 49 and 50 has this problem, and that the support is looking into it. So I will just add that the problem still exist, at least for my new forum.

And... thanks for all help, and for this superb forum service.

I have the same problem with the Avatars, but I have used the remote features and that is doing the job for now. But could you please check my forum, I haven't opened it yet to the public because I want it to be correct without issues. I went to both here and Knowledge Base for answers on Topic Icons as well. I did the the remote feature but they are not showing up. The show-up on the ACP, but not on the form post page. Please help!

Yeah, not too overload you or bother you or anything, but I've been having that problem too.

http://newbabylon.49.forumer.com/

I see that it's the servers having problems and can understand. I'd just like to add that I've gotten the "'The upload was rejected because the uploaded file was identified as a possible attack vector.'" I've also had the images say they work, but no actual image will show up and instead of a picture it'll say "User Avatar." None of the ways to upload a picture will work either.

I too am having this problem
http://shiaforum.49.forumer.com

Though some members have been able to link off site, the majority are reciving the error message, "'The upload was rejected because the uploaded file was identified as a possible attack vector.'"

Thanks!

I have the same problem. I gather it is a known issue on my server. I'm posting and subscribing to this thread in the hopes of support updates on the issue.

Wild Cat already said, "I will report the upload issue, but we do know about that, we have the same problem on server 50 and we are working on it.
Once a solution is found we will implement it on both servers.". You just have to wait it out.
