how do i put different backgrounds on my forum and how do i make avitars less then 34 kb or what ever the pixel limit is thanks and please reply.

To change the bg for some of the style you can first
1) Log in th A/CP
>2) Styles Admin
>3) Menu
>4) Edit Styles Data
You can there edit some of the basic stuff in styles data but not all skins lets you do that so hopefully yours will.

To change the setting of users avatar
1) Log in the A/CP
>2) General Admin
>3) Configuration
>4) and find the section Avatar Settings
There you can edit Maximum Avatar File Size and Maximum Avatar Dimensions
