it might be because i changed the background image to white, but when users try to login from the forum i created, as they type, it types white on a white background.
is there a way to change that color? its rather annoying and makes it not user friendly

Which skin did you use?

Maybe try using a different skin which uses a black font and change the bg to white in there.....

Or maybe some one has a better solution .....

That used to happen to me as well with the FI 3D Black skin as well.
Due to this CSS
.gen,.genmed,.gensmall { color : #000000; }

However, this is not possible to edit, sorry.
