Well on my site the homepage is the forums, I want a homepage thats like the vBuliten site, Can anyone help?

go to fmods.com join go to modifications then go to skins page 3 there is a skin called jbulliten. its very similer in my opinion to vbulliten.

oh sorry i dont think there is a code for phpbb2 as they have very limited forum control in my opinion.

im sorry about that daxlo it seems everytime i try helping i mess up.

If you mean a portal,

Admin CP > fPortal > Enable fPortal > Submit.

Hi,

On a similar note:

I want to create a link back to my website from my Forumer Forum.
Say my website is www.xyz.com and they click on the Forum link - how can they go back to my main website without using BACK Button on the browser.

A sort of link on the banner or Title to take users back to the main .com website.

Any ideas. - I am using the subPortal Skin and managed to put the logo.

you can add a link on the forum's description with <a href="http://yoururlhere">YourTextHere</a>

Thanks - I have been using the subPortal since long time so know the 2 links on the index page can't be configured.

This would be the only fix I guess.

I have allowed HTML at General Admin >> Configuration

but still the <a href> tag does not get saved in the description.

What could be causing this ?

When I put the <a href> tag in the SITE NAME part of General Admin >> Configuration - a link is created not just on the Heading / TITLE but 2 other places which messes the look and feel of the site.

So I guess only description can have it for now.

Anywhere else I can put the home website Link ???
