Well, I'm not entirely sure so take this with a grain of salt.

When I added HTML to a title of my first forum, the HTML worked, but it also left some HTML at the top of the page, above the logo, in thread pages, not the index or thread index.

If you have HTML in a forum title, remove it and it should resolve the problem. I personally had to delete the forum to be able to change it.

Again, I'm unsure, but this is what it looks like to me.

Does this look familiar to you? It seems that you have replaced forum names with images.


Edit all forum names/descriptions and change the quote style from "comment" to 'comment', for the above mentioned example it would be:

Make sure that you edit all forum names/descriptions and change the quote style from "comment" to 'comment'. So far you have changed only the first one.
