The only way you can do it on phpBB is to stick it in a forum description table, so make a category and a forum within it for just the shoutbox, and where you're supposed to type a description for the forum, just paste the code for the box. Voila.

Make sure when you add your new shout box you know where you are putting it and make sure you paste the entire code.

How?

Shoutmix is a good one. You can play with the size of it and the format, and match it to your colour scheme. You can view IPs and match them against ur members if you have any troublesome shoutbox users. You can delete any message too, since ur its admin, and your name stays in the box as a cookie so you don't have to keep typing it in (this goes for everyone who uses it).

Make an account an shoutmix do all the thing u need to make a shoutbox then gener a code. Copy it and make a new section somehwere in your forum ( i've done it in offtopic-->shoutbox) Copy the code to descripton and click ok. Now u have ur own shoutbox

How do I get RID of a shoutbox on a forum? I have it in the forum description of a thread but now it is covering a few threads and i cannot delete the thread.
