| Junior Forumer ![]() | One of the main reasons for selecting Forumer in the first place was that they had a forum color preview option, and found the 'subBlack' style was exactly the right choice for me. This is the only style I've make available to my users (so everyone has the same coloring). The forum is going well (near 800 posts in it's first two months), however ran into a problem when using the quote BBcodes. The results are near unreadable because it renders black text on a dark gray background! Here's an example: ![]() Now, I figured I could be tricky and fix this myself. I used a paint program to determine the dark gray background was HTML color #616161, so when into the ACP --> Styles Admin --> Management --> subBlack --> Edit, figuring I could find which one is using this color code and change it to something more readable, however NONE of the "theme elements" were #616161, so I am now very confused. Assistance please. Forum = http://wpg.11.forumer.com |

| Senior Forumer ![]() | MSPaint sucks.. it doesn't detect the right HTML code at all. Use good ones like GIMP (which is free) Also, I don't understand what you need? do you want to change the background color and text of the quote button? Dig in the style Admin and look for "quote" or something.. sorry don't know much about phpbb |

| Junior Forumer ![]() | Not using MS-Paint (said "used a paint program", which is not the same thing), no not the "quote button", the result of using the quote BBcodes (ie, see where the red arrow is pointing in example). Sadly, it not as obvious as having an option in the style edit as "quote background" or anything else meaningful, or I would have already tried it. Thanks for trying though. ![]() |

| Active Forumer ![]() | The background coloring is chosen by php based on the "skin" color that is used. There is no php codes (that I am aware of) to allow the user to change the background colors of the quote "box". The only remedy I can think of is to change the color of your skin. |
