how do i get avarters every time i go to another site and copy the url of the page where all there avarters are it says the url you have entered has no info or data

Can you please be more specific? What sites? What urls? Where are you inserting the URLs?

and i've tryed all of the profil options that cover the avarters

There aren't any images in that gallery. You have to upload pictures first.

Hello,

Another thing you can do is host your avatars on http://imageshack.us make a thread about the avatars, and, copy and paste the URL of thae avatars. That can be your little "avatar gallary". Turn on the URL uploading through ACP -> General Admin -> Configurations -> Allow Avatar Uploading. That way they can add the URL of that specific avatar.

Just a general piece of knowledge:

When linking to an image on forums, whether in a post or the user CP, you have to link directly to an image. For example, the url http://www.images.com/image is not right. However, http://www.images.com/image1.gif is an example of a correct URL. Basically, you have to link to a page that has just the image on it, nothing else at all.

To obtain the direct link to the image (what isolice was talking about) right-click on the picture you want to put on your forum or use as avatar, than click properties and then look at where it says adress:, you can copy this and than paste it wherever you need the image

For instance I rightclick on the banner at the top of this page, click proberties and copy the adress to clipboard. This adress is the direct link: http://forum.forumer.com/images/misc...logo_white.gif (the page with just the picture on it...)
