hey I've been working for hours trying everything I can but I can't change where the 'fading silver gradient' thing on the index of subsilver can change from that white space on my forum to the color that has "general" on it. You don't seem to be able to put a color code in that box, but on the new skins I noticed it is just color.

Also, I put up a background image for it but its not showing up, I dont think that it is registering it... can you help?

my forum is: http://liamaiken.7.forumer.com/

thanks!!!

Mmk I thought that was a little confusing and as nobody is responding I'm taking it that it was very confusing so I'm going to try to explain this a little better.

If you go to my forum you will see on the first thread and topic board: A dark blue banner that says Forum, topics, posts (etc)

Then below it you will see a lighter blue shade with "general on it" and right next to that you will see this gaping white space (which on the subSilver board used to be a graphic that was named 'fading silver gradient')

Now I wanted to figure out how to make that white space the same light blue that has the words "General" on it so I sat there and tryed to figure it out for a really long time, but I just couldn't seem to figure it out. I looked at some of the new skins that you guys put up and I saw that others achieved the effect of making that bar one solid color so I was wondering how I could do that.

But I couldn't dismantle any of those skins because most of them are un-customizable so I came here to ask for your help.

And ALSO (I know I'm just full of problems aren't I?) I put up an image for the forum background but its not showing up and I was wondering why that was.

Thank you!
-Chloe

Customizing skins with phpBB is not an easy thing to do. Why not just choose one of the 30+ skins we have pre-installed for you?

Well, without access to your board's core files, making your own phpBB template isn't really possible nor reasonable.
