The FI Black 3D Blue theme has a large (967 x 120) background image which I thought I could convert to be a full width banner. I tried to edit the theme by addding a URL to my custom background image. I went into Styles Admin/Mangement and into the edit function for this theme. In the "background image" slot of the "theme settings" I entered the URL for the custom background image I uploaded to a host site. I then saved the settings, but there was no change to the background image on the forum.

Am I doing something wrong?
Can the background image be changed? If so, how?

Have you tired clearing your cookies? What about your Temporary Internet Files?

Yup. Cleared both. Same result.

Ok, well, the problem may be then, that the BG Image blank is asking for the direct root path to the image, which you can not provide, becase the image is not hosted with forumer.

I was just wondering...I have an adinfinitum skin installed, can I change the background image of it?

No, as mentioned above, you would need access to the root images directory to your forum. Right now, this can not be done. Sorry.
