hello..i hav one doubt. iddnt see it asked b4..excuse me if it was.

i wanted to change tke skin of my forum to a new skin, to xbox precisely

bt i am worried if i wud lose the posts. ther r abt 1000 odd posts and it wud b sad if i lose them..and criminal to the mebers also

so i want to b sure bfor i do anything.

Hello,
Changing skins will not cause you to lose the posts on your forum

i thot so too..bt u r absolutely sure na?

as i wasnt sure, i thot of changing colours leaving the skin as it is.

is ther any way u can try out colours without being visible to visitors on forum? a preview or something?

bcos i may end up in horrible colour combinations and i ddnt want any comments on it. :P

I am absolutely positive that you will not lose your posts if you change the skin.

You can test out all the phpBB skins HERE to see which ones you like. If you want to experiment with the skins and colors on your forum before you wish for anyone to see it, you can temporarily turn your board offline under Admin CP > General Admin > Configuration > Disable board (although visitors will still be able to see part of your skin.)
