hello. just a simple question. i'm still deciding whether to go phbb or wait for ipb to return. had a look at the test styles that limez put in announcements - very nice. curious about how much is editable in phbb?

take the retro one for example - could i change the banner and graphic buttons at the top for my own (login, profile etc)? if so would the pictures be hosted through forumer or would i link to images on my own space? also are the colours etc changeable?

a little clarification about how rigid styles are is all i need really, are they set in stone, do they just control the general layout or can big bits be overhauled?

ta

Ok, first of all, the phpBB skins are not editable. You cannot change the buttons, such as forum markers, new topic, etc. The color can be change with phpBB.

IPB you can chagne buttons, but we dont know when it will be released again.

phpBB is very nice. At the moment we are limited to what you can do. In the future we are going to upgrade to the new phpBB when it is in the stable mode.

IPB and phpBB are your choice. But IPB has no date when it will be back.
