| Member | I am at a loss here. On my forum in just one thread the replies are shoved to the right. The first threads in that forum were fine and then they went all the way to the right. This is the only forum on my board that has this problem. If I could get some help figuring out what happened and how to fix it I would sure appreciate it. Here is a link to my forum; http://papercrafting.11.forumer.com/index.php The forum with the problem is called "Card Angels" Any help would be appreciated. Glenda |

| Member | I edited the post you were referring to and that set everything straight in that that thread, now I have another one that is all messed up. In the thread that says General Chat the whole face of the board sits to the left, a few posts were made, then it shoved the rest of the posts to the right again. I looked at every post and there are no open tags. I don't know if people are clicking on something they shouldn't be when they are posting or what? But I need to to have someone help me figure it out so I can make an announcement about what had been done so posters will make sure they are careful. I sure hope this all makes sense, because I am totally confused right now. Glenda Edited to add; the thread in the general chat that is out of line is the one that says "Sunday November 8, 2009 Last edited by Glenda01; 11-08-2009 at 09:54 PM.. Reason: added to post |

| Elite Forumer ![]() ![]() | A "test" user account with at least moderator access (so we can edit posts) would be useful so we can check it out... you can send the log in details to me or Nutz by clicking on the user name and email link. |

This will mark the thread RESOLVED and will close the thread. (please use this tip!) Please DO NOT! PM/e-mail me for support unless I ask you to. Do a search and if you don't find your answer create a thread with your question and I will be happy to help. I can not be replying the same answer over and over in an e-mail/PM. Thanks. | |

| Member | Please excuse me for sounding really dumb but I want to make sure I understand what you are telling me. I will register a phony account on the forum, then email you the name and password of that phoney name. That name I will give mod status. I will then click on your name here on the board and select to email you with the login info. I am only repeating this to make sure I understand. I'm truly sorry if I sound ignorant. |

| Elite Forumer ![]() ![]() | yeah.... except I call it a "test" account not a phony account.....lol It is useful for you too to have one, if you ever want to try out permissions you want to give your members, as you should never experiment with your admin account, if you ever put it to any other user group then you wont be able to make yourself admin again.... A test account is for testing ...... nothing phony about it, it will not be taking part in discussions. |

| Member | Gotcha. Okay I will make a "Test" account now and email you the login info for that account. While I am doing that, I have another problem from a member. She says she has to login every time she comes to the board. Does the box you check to login you in automatically with each vist work? I have that enabled in the configuration. She is also having a problem when replying to posts, it won't let her type into the reply box. I had that problem also the other day. I finally logged out then logged back in a couple of hours later and everything worked fine. I am not sure if that is a problem on your end, or if it could just be a problem with an individuals computer. Wildcat-- I made the test user account, but when I move my cursor over your name I no longer have the drop down to select to send you an email. So where do I click to send the login info on the test account to you? Last edited by Wild Cat; 11-09-2009 at 10:12 AM.. Reason: posts merged, please do not double post while you can edit |

Also, you need to have cookies enabled for the automated log in to work, as noone else is having that problem that should prove that it is not on our side, she will need to clear her cookies and cache then enable cookies for the forum and tick the box again before logging in, This can also happen when you are on dial up.... | Member | ok I sent you an email with the test account info. I hope I did everything right. I also mentioned to the user who could not stay logged in check on the whole cookie thing and she said she would. If anyone else was having the same problem she was, they were not reporting to me so I really think too that it is on her end. |
