Default [RESOLVED] New window browser?

I have fportal enabled on my forum and I created a link in the forums to get back there. It works but it does it by opening a new browser tab instead of staying on the same one. Is there anyway to fix this?

This is the code I used to create the link:

<ahref="http://ananation.forumer.com/portal.php" target="_blank"><img src="http://i106.photobucket.com/albums/m266/Abercrombe_2006/homepage.gif" border="0" alt="Click to return to homepage."></a>

Heres the page where the link is:

Hello there!

What browser are you using?

(there should also be a space here "<a href=")

Best regards,

Victor

Alright, this problem isn't actually with your link...if you try using it in IE you'll notice it does open in a new window.

This is actually a FireFox default setting. It opens all links that would normally open in a new window in another tab. I am sure there is a way to change that setting somehow....?

Get rid of the bold bit in your HTML code, and it will fix the problem.
