Talking Mods for Forumer PHPBB2
I Have a Few Questions About PHPBB2.
If I Download PHPBB2 from the Website(WWW.phpbb.com), Can I use what I make on it on my forum?

And another Thing...is it Possible to use the Mods on WWW.phpbb.com on my Forumer Hosted Phbb?

And If Not(Or yes) where is the best place to get mods for my forum other than WWW.fmods.com. On fmods all I can Find are mods for IPB forums.

Theres a sub forum at fmods for phpbb if you look closely enough but there aren't as many as there are for IPB.

That's because IPB has HTML access and people can install mods easy. It is not really possible to install many mods to pbpBB2.....

Guess SawanM can give you a more accurate answer to your question, I mostly work with IPB

Id Like to switch to IPB, but I Alrady Have a whole forum made with the PHPBB and I Dont Want to Create the whole thing all over again. But I really want to switch to IPB.

You cannot install any mods in phpbb2. You can only use the mod you have in A/CP
and you need to do every thing again if you want a new IPB forum

well if you want to switch I advise you to do it ASAP, while you still have only a few members and a few posts so it won't hurt that much if you lose the posts and the few members is easier to convince to register at a new place than if you have many...as we do not offer database release, when you make a new forum you are starting afresh ....so as I said its better to swap while the forum is not too big...

No, this is not possible. Hosting on Forumer makes your life easier, by giving you free hosting, support etc.

No, this is not possible due to the lack of FTP access besides the security issues involved.

You can search fMods for phpBB2 mods and some will come up like a clock, calendar, shoutbox etc.
