06.forumer.com [RESOLVED] cant find the server, forums not working

Last few hours it was fine & now the forums cant be reached, seems some server problem.
I am getting this error "cant find the server at dsapgroup.6.forumer.com"

Need help to get it back & running.

Its back now running but the speed is tooooo slow I have to refres page many times only then it opens its not usable with such speed, seems forumer servers are having some problem, can anyone confirm please?

its now completely down again, members of our forum are complaining. Can someone please confirm if the admin is aware of this & taking some actions to sort out this problem.

Hi,

Server 6 was working fine, at least for the last some hours. May be there's a problem with internet connection at the datacenter. Please just wait and this will be fixed (of course, not by us).

Howdy,

I'm afraid I'm going to have to add my chip into the pile. Our forum (tts2project.8.forumer.com), obviously on Server #8, has been erratic most of the day and is inaccessible completely to any of our members at the time I am typing this.

Perhaps something was overlooked?

Hi - thanks for the server status info, but I have checked when it first happened and just checked again - it says server 21 is online with a green light next to it but its incorrect as I am unable (along with my members) to get into the forum. The server status isn't always helpful for this reason - ie it tells you its working when it isn't

Well it shows it as off line now, please be patient we are dealing with it, it might take a while but hopefully not too long.

The server status is quite accurate, it might have been that the server just went off line and the page needed updating.

I hope it won't be too long. I was right in the middle of something when our forum froze on us because no. 14's down again (forgive the complaining. I deal with a lot of technical issues everyday and I know how stressful it is).

I don't see any reason for you to apologize. Forumer is providing some of the fastest and more effecient support I've encountered. Temporary inconvinences are just that.

Thanks Wild Cat - as the admin of a website I know how frustrating it can be when everyone whinges at you - sometimes you can't do any more than you are already doing and because you are partly responsible for so many of them, the number of whinges are majorly increased. Anyway, its still very unstable but some are able to get on the forum so thats a start I guess. Lets hope it gets sorted.
