| Member | Hello I signed up yesterday for a forum and used a particular email address during my registration. Now I have a Forum under development I wanted to change the Admin email address to something that had the forum title in it. I've entered this new address in the Forum admin section, and I also updated the email in the User COntrol Panel, however mails from my Forum still appear to originate from my original email address. Is there a delay on updates occuring? or have I missed something? Thanks Nestor |

| Banned User ![]() | I think there is a verification email it sends to the original email to make sure that you want this change. You must click that to complete it. |

| Member | Hi Yes, I did try that and nothing seem'd to happen, the email changed, but I still seem to be getting mails from the old address. I'll try it again on a different address. Thanks for the reply Nestor |

I was having the same problem and FINALLY figured it out today! Here's what you have to do: - Log into the admin account of your board - Go to the administration panel - Click on 'fSettings' in the left hand panel - Update your email where it says 'Owner's E-Mail Address' - You DO have to log into the email address that you changed it to -- so it was x@mail.com and you changed it to z@mail.com, log into z@mail.com and look for the email with the verification link. And look in your spam folder if it's not in the inbox. My verification email was in my spam folder but I found it, clicked the link, and now I'm all changed! Hope that helps | |

| Member | I had problems doing this for almost 6 months and am pleased to report that the function is again working properly. I appreciate whatever was done to correct the issue. The steps that Retroish laid out above do work. Good Luck! |
