Yes, I did try that and nothing seem'd to happen, the email changed, but I still seem to be getting mails from the old address. I'll try it again on a different address.

Hi Nestor,

I was having the same problem and FINALLY figured it out today! Here's what you have to do:
- Log into the admin account of your board
- Go to the administration panel
- Click on 'fSettings' in the left hand panel
- Update your email where it says 'Owner's E-Mail Address'
- You DO have to log into the email address that you changed it to -- so it was x@mail.com and you changed it to z@mail.com, log into z@mail.com and look for the email with the verification link. And look in your spam folder if it's not in the inbox. My verification email was in my spam folder but I found it, clicked the link, and now I'm all changed!

I had problems doing this for almost 6 months and am pleased to report that the function is again working properly. I appreciate whatever was done to correct the issue. The steps that Retroish laid out above do work. Good Luck!
