Angry Cursor Trouble

Hi, I posted a while ago about removing the cursor on my forum I had installed and how it was making my forum slow. Only I can see it and non of my other members can. Ive tried everything I can think of to get rid of it and have it back to the default cursor but I cant remember how I did it in the first place. I thought I had put something in my fSupport on the admin panel but I just cant find any way of geting rid of it. I would be really grateful if someone could help me as its driving me nuts now. Thanks.

What is the address of your forum? Just so that we can help you out by seeing it first.

Sounds like you have to go into the skins section and manage that skin by clicking the button that takes you to the html file. Otherwise change your skin.

It looks like only registered users can see anything.

I can fix it for you, if you wouldn't mind to PM me your login details.

Cheers,
upcoming dad Tuitam

Hi, Ive tried going into my Edit Styles Data but have found no html codes in there at all. Ive also tried to change my style to a different one but the cursor still remains the same. And I would prefer not to give my log in details to anyone as Im site Admin and I would feel more comfortable if someone would be able to help me on here, thanks for the offer though.

Go into the change skins section of your forum. Select the skin and have a look at the Style Sheets and edit them.

Without seeing the problem it is almost impossible to locate its source.

Would you be able to provide some more details? Open your forum and navigate to a place where you can see the annoying cursor. Save the source HTML code of that page as a file - using Menu > File > Save as... Make sure that you select "Web page, HTML only" in Save as type: box. Then compress (zip) that file and post it here as attachment. (I think *.zip attachments have the biggest size allowance over here).

Analysis of the HTML code may allow us to find out what's wrong and how to fix it.

What sort of cursor is it, exactly? Is it like one of those shitty ones that do strange things or is it like this one?

Its the 7th one down on this site:

http://www.poqbum.com/cursors/index.php

Id do anything to get rid of it and feel like a prat now for putting it on in the first place and not being able to get rid. It slows my forum right down and makes it crash also. Its only happening to me on there as no one else can see it, only me.

Just wanted to say thanks to all who tried to help me, I appreciate it and will leave my cursor alone from now on!!
