Hi, I'm new to this free forum thing, anyhow, just wondering if its possible for forumer to do things like adding "shoutbox" and "recent post" not by adding free codes from tagboardz and adding it in "create forum" , rather it's a part of the forum like from my ex clan forum here http://fos.phpbb24.com/index.php .

So is it possible? and how do I do it.

Pardon me if this has been discussed. If so, point me to the thread.

You can add recent posts at your PORTAL, and for a shout box i think you might need a code

I'm sorry but why do you need a shout box when you can purchase the fChat?

two reasons, it wouldn't cost anything, and regardless if you had a shout 1 minute or 1 day ago, you could always see the latest shouts, this you can't do with a chat room. Besides chat rooms really kill the activity of your forum.
