Is there any way to create a temporary ban for phpBB software? I would like some way to make a step before a ban by doing like a 3 day temporary ban. But I don't want to ban him, then un-ban him in 3 days. That is too inconvenient. Any ideas?

No, there is no way to do it automatically. You will have to just ban them, then unban them three days later. It isn't that much inconvenience.
