Sir,

I am the site admin of http://getallhere.7.forumer.com/index.php

Recently, I m facing a severe problem -- last night (Feb 13th) more than 4000 registered member's account has been deleted from our forum within just 1 or 2 hours... And after that incident, nobody is able to get register with us... whenever anyone clicks the "Register" button, a message says "Sorry, the user name is already in use"....

I dont know what to do & how to do... Have already reset all the admin's control panel options -- but all my efforts r in vain --- please help .....

I'm not sure what happened to the members, but the registration problem has been fixed.

It also said Username has already been taken. And I have lost 14 members too. Please help someone!

tested this, we fixed this. Are those accounts still gone? Hopefully they were spam bot accounts.

Well...my member list is still down. Which isn't to big of a deal to me. My totla posts count on the forum hasn't gone done, so I think they were probably just spam bots. People can register now right?

Our forum had 26 members deleted, and about 2000 posts deleted sometime early Monday morning.

The members who were deleted, and the posts involved appear to be related, but maybe not. I have never given out my admin password & the other site admin says that she has not, either.

Is there any way our forum could have been hacked without someone having one of our passwords? Our board is this one: http://bestoftheboards.6.forumer.com/

Right now I have changed all the forums there except one to "mod access only", so they aren't visible to members or guests, and had our members register at our forumer backup board, while we try to figure this out.

Also, I noticed a guest ip (that was not the google search bot) in our private forum several times earlier that evening. The guest ip belonged to a registered member who does not have access to that private forum...could someone please explain how this could happen? Could this be related to the apparent hack?
