I cannot create new Forum ANd category Plz help me

you should make sure that you are creating a new category first, and then a new forum.

Are you sure you are the admin there and that you have complete power?

Yes i m creating a new category first and then the new forum , and i m the admin of the site , i have made it

I'm trying to understand what you're asking, because you have categories and you have forums, so you've made both in the past? Is it that you can't make any new ones at all?

I dont think there is something WRONG with your forum, perhaps YOU are doing something wrong.

Interesting, I am an admin on our forum and am finding the same problem.
Bellmaster4, I think your comment about who/what is to blame for this problem is a little unjustified. Having managed our forum for quite a while now I have noticed some really whacky things going on and the problem described by chot4 is one of them. It seems there are more bugs in the software than on my car windscreen after a 200 mile drive at 70mph!

When I log into the control panel I see the options of CREATE NEW CATEGORY and CREATE NEW FORUM.

I can enter text into the blank box of either option but when I click the button to do as I want, nothing happens.

Is there a setting which only the main forum admin has access to (forum registered keeper) that may prevent his allocated admins from carrying out this function.

It seems it was a function that was available but seems to have been changed since the big server crash last weekend.

ANY help would be greatly appreciated. Now if it IS something that we users are doing wrong then please point us in the right direction and/or give guidance but to dismiss it as "user error" offhand helps no one.

Have you got any additional software installed on your computer, which could interfere with your browser, e.g. ads-blocker, proxy server, internet accellerator etc.?

Nothing untoward that will affect. I have tried turning off my anti-virus, firewall, pop-up blockers etc but to no avail.

have tried different computers from different locations but the result s the same for create new forum and category.

type text into box in admin panel, click create new...... and it just does NOTHING.

Please help.

Are you assured that the forum is unlocked and enabled? The forum will not show if it isn't enabled. There have been times when I have forgotten to put a check mark in the enable box.

im having the same problem here i made a topic about it too it just does nothing when i click the button. fix this problem...im getting very annoyed.

This probaly means nothing, but what browser do you use? There shouldn't be any reason it wouldn't work, especially if you have tried it on several different computers. I doubt a server messup would do it, since all the complaints aren't from the same server. And it doesn't seem like a problem you guys are doing.
