I promoted my friend to site admin, but she cant view the admin panel. How can this be changed

Could you tell us how you promoted your friend?

I went to user admin. clicked on premission. Then i typed in her name. And clicked look up user.

I then went to user level and selected admin instead of user.

I then went on to management which is also in user admin. typed in her name and it took me to her control panel. i scrooled down and selected site admin.

Did you give her permission to enter the private or invite only admin-forum?
Or, are you referring to the page after clicking go to administration panel?
I was unable for a short time to get into admin panel because I had accidentally reset my password. And, after FAP reset admin, I had to retrieve email giving the new assigned password.
