I've been having this issue with three of my users. They claim that no activation e-mail was ever sent to them following their registration, and even after manually activating their account in the control panel, they are still unable to see anything but my public forums.

One of the affected users allowed a "working" user to logon with his account info from the working user's PC and everything worked fine.

Firewall issue? If so, does this explain not getting an activation e-mail?

I've read the Sticky above, so I'm aware of the firewall issue, but my concern is also the absence of a activation e-mail.

Any help will be greatly appreciated.

Hello,

The sticky above is directed for new Forumer.com users registering for a Forumer.com hosted forum.

As for your problem, this isn't a fire wall issue. Instead, it's a e-mail service provider issue. Most of these activation e-mails are sent directly to the spam folders. (Especially if they are using gMail, or Hotmail)
