When I started my Forumer forum, the website name I wanted, realityisland.com, was taken so I registered realityisland.net instead. Recently realityisland.com became available so I registered it and added it to my Forumer site as the selected domain. Now the realityisland.net redirect isn't working.

Is it possible to have two domains redirecting to your site or do you have to choose one or the other?

How long has the '.net' not been working for?

Also did it stop working when it '.com' started working?

The .net stopped working right after the .com extension started working.

I wonder if it has something to do with the place I have my domains registered at. I didn't sign up with the place Forumer recommends because they don't take Paypal (or at least they didn't when I signed up). All that stuff is so confusing to me and the place I'm registered at doesn't give any support.

Is it possible to make the '.net' re-direct to the '.com' with your host/registrar ?

I don't know. I was thinking of trying that but I'm not sure how to do that.

You currently have the .com set-up, and I think on forumer forums the most you can set-up with a forum is one domain. As mygame suggested, redirect the ".net" domain to your .com, or directly to your forumer forum link.

The redirect options should be in the control pannel of your domain registrar somewere, I'm sure they have help or guidelines somewere aswell.

I did get it working finally. I changed realityisland.net from an A name to a proxy and it's working now. You learn something new every day running a forum.
