how can you restrict who reads a forum by saying something like 'you need 50 posts to have access to this forum'??

You can create group access and private forums. Once they have the required amount of posts you can grant them access to that forum.

neither of those gets close to solving my problem, i want to know how you can allow access to a forum after a certain number of posts, they are all jus talking bout usergroups

I was trying to give a solution to what you wanted. In short, no you can not do what you want. However if you like to create a group as a work around then you can do that. You can make a group and allow them to have access to the forums, and those new members who don't have the required post count won't be in that group so they won't have access to the forums.

You can do plenty of things with Forumer. There are already limitations built into the phpBB software (software Forumer did not develop). If you are not satisfied with phpBB, maybe you should try creating an IPB forum?

was thinkin of doin that, but since i cant keep my posts n memebers n everythin i really dont wanna start all over again, when you upgrade to phpbb 3, will we be given more control?
