First off... the poll has to be in your announcements section

89 above is the topic (thread) number, and it should be the forum number.

Please refer to >> this topic.

The poll doesn't have to be in your announcements section. All you have to do is follow the instructions in your portal configuration Do you know how to tell what your forum ID numbers are? Here is a screen shot of what your portal config. should look like (those numbers are prob. not the ones for your forum that you are looking to poll, so you'll need to locate your forum ID number). Just pay attention to the red circled area. With this screen it will allow the portal to fetch 2 different forums for polls. You can set it to how many you'd like.

I didnt beleive it had to be an announcement, but it is for now anyway. It hasnt worked either way.

The Thread i want to poll in in my first post in here. Topic 89 and if u saw my screen dump u can see i have topic 89 in there

I cant see wat i have wrong.

I have tried putting the "," after it and that stuffed it up royally, so thats not it.

I cant work it out

You should not put the topic number but the forum number this topic is posted in. I wrote about it already, see my post above (and follow the link).
