Hi all,

Im want to set up two different types of people on my forum and allow one group to view everything and the other only half.

Now i have setup the first group and put myself as a mod, but when I go to the Group permissions the only boxes I have are Is Moderator/Not Mod. when I go to Advanced Mode I can see the different permission - read write etc on each forum but there are no check boxes etc to select what options they should have.

What am I doing wrong? a detailed walk through will be very helpful thankyou.

Group premissions is just like a user premission just its for more then one person.

Steps:

1) Create a group

After you created a group with the moderator which moderates the ppl in the group go to step 2

2) Go back to "Group Admin". Then click premmisions. Then try to make it that your group that you want to add premmisions to would show. Then press "Look up group".

3) Click advanced

4) Click on what you want that group to view or post in.

Then you finished one group. Now go back to premissions and do your second one.

Note: For your situation you must turn all your forum premssions to be on private.

If you turn me to an admin for a short time I would do it. Don't worry I won't be able to hack your forum. I don't need it. I have my own with about twice as much you do so don't worry! (ONLY IF YOU DON'T GET IT)
