Hey Guys! My Members are complaining why cant they receive email after the registration process. Help us out! Please! Support! Anyone! Me as a Site Admin is getting tired of enabling their accounts one by one!

Please help me out!

Have You tried going to General Admin then configuration and finding Enable account activation then put it to user?

Hello,

Are you sure you've not set the User Account Activation to Admin ? If yes, you can change it by going to

Quote:

Administration Panel >> General Admin>> Configuration

If just some & not all members are experiencing this problem, you may suggest that they check their SPAM & Bulk mail folders.

its already set on user... but still they cant receive email! should i put it to none til they resolve this problem? Again, Visual Confirmation doesnt appear too!

Is there some sort of delay on the email? I tried registering on a forumer forum and have yet to recieve activation email. I have gmail account. I'm guessing its just some delay.

EDIT: I just registered at your site and realised I didn't get email either. I've noticed that the ADmin doesn't have an email adress. I went to memberlist and next to Admin there is no email!! Try correcting this.

You should change it so that there is no activation.

But yeah I think I might be having the same problem. People registered and didn't activate their accounts. So I changed it to no activation. Personally I would prefer email activation so they must put real email addresses but people register and don't activate. Strange.

Hello!

A near Question to that:

I registered today for a Forum but the request took a long time to be sent.
Anyway,I knew it's stored on your database,so I clicked the Forum Address(as I know the server is 17) and it opened and I configured it and everything.

But I didn't recieve a Confirmation e-mail myself and there is a Lock beside the Forum Categories.
