Im trying to make a member an administrator, I went to the control panel, searched him, checked the box that is supposed to make him an admin and save changes. He logged out, then logged back in, and was not an admin. In his profile it said "Site Admin" under his name, but he had no powers and could not access the Administration Panel. What is going wrong here?

For goodness sake don't let anyone else become an administrator....even your best friend. It leads to all sorts of problems.

One forum...One administrator!!!!

If you need help with your forum, make them a moderator.

^ good idea i never do that.....

think before choosing ur actions please i see some forums with more then 4 admin its really ridicolous

choosing someone u know and trust doesnt mean u can really trust them at all...just my 2 Cent

yeah...be careful on who you add as an Administrator....
There have been counless thefts of forums in here, and unfortunately there is nothing that can be done.
There is the FAP right now....but that does not mean that you dont have to be cautious.
