Default Regarding the fPortal
As you can see in my forum;

http://smkdlels.11.forumer.com

In the middle, there is the Welcome box and below it, the announcement. But why are the posts in the Announcement box from the welcoming section from the forum?

In the FPortal settings look for:
News forum(s) []

Probably you havn't set this to the forum id you wan't for announcements.
The reason I believe this is because the announcements forum of yours has
id = 2
While the welcome forum is:
id = 1 (default for announcement boxes)

If you get where I am going, good luck setting up your forum!

just go to fPortal setting in your forum admin cp, & change the announcement from 1 to 2, thats it.
