Default What is the limit for total of posts in a Forum?
I am curious as to the maximum number of posts in a PHPbb forum.

I've done a search on this here but couldn't find any reference to it.

Actually, there is a total of 1080 posts (or messages) on my board. A while ago, as I attempted to reply to a post, the message body box disappeared after flashing thru, and then the original thread messages were shown instead so I couldn't reply.

It's working ok now, I guess it was just some glitch. But it still made me curious as to the total number of posts a board should have before it becomes problematic.

Don't worry, phpBB is designed for infinite posting, it was definetly a mySQL error, but it is all fixed now.
