I want to add custom rank images to my board, and I dont understand whats written here;

depending on the server you are on, you can hotlink the rank images from a host of your choice, given they allow hotlinking. the reason this is put up is because hotlinking the rank images doesn't work consistently with all servers.

if you take a look at my forum, techforums.11.forumer.com, i have my rank images hotlinked.

if your server doesn't allow this, I or someone else can better explain the link you posted.

I think it's easier to host pictures for this on ImageShack! Just upload a picture, look for the "Direct Link" box and copy everything in it! Go to the page to add ranks and just past what you just copied into the source box! Done!

sometimes imageshack.us says loading after i click host.it says uploading but gives me no results.
at such times I use tinypic.com or imgpal.com that is why I gave the entire list.
Tip- instead of typing imageshack.us type echo.cx it goes to the same page.

Photobucket is the most reliable host, because some places break your imageshack hosted image.

imgpal seems to instantly give results irrespective of the file size.
