I'd just like even a brief note as to what is causing the problem and that it's being worked on. My users that can't log in (some can log in and post) are emailing me asking the WHY am I getting this and if I could give them a straight answer as to what's going on I think that would placate them a bit. Like is this a result of the updating of the phpBB? And if so, why aren't ALL users locked out? All I keep telling them is I don't know and keep trying I guess. I mean, if the Admins are pulling their hair out about this trying to figure it out and fix it, it would be nice to know, because then I can quit pulling mine out

I also understand that it's a free service that we as users selected to use, but I decided to stay with it once GB got taken over because of the level of service they seemed to provide.

When trying to connect I see the following message:

Unable to connect to database on 'forumer.com' with user 'yyyy'
Dear user, our technicians are aware of this issue! Please bear with us as we fix this bug!

Is that a true story? I'm not sure at this point!

I'm seeing that one on my forum as well and on a friends.

Is the .13 server down or something?

The not being able to register on some forums is strange too you just end up with the message "you must fill in all required fields"
It seems it is either not recognising the Username or the Password. I only found that some forums are doing this when I tried to register with a Harry Potter one. Yep, It's on server 13. (then again there's one on Server 8 doing that as well).

I wonder if anyone can actually register on my forum? Can't test it if I cant get on though.
