How do you make it so that a sub-forum can only be accessed by someone, ie a moderator?

it's easy to do it for a sub-forum for admins only, but i just cant get it to work for a mods-only sub-forum

will somebody please help? in case you wanted to know what my forum is,

Create a new permission mask (it's somewhere in the member-managing section to the left of ACP) with Moderators. Permission masks are independent from user groups.

Admin's can access basically everything, so it is highly difficult to exclude them from things. (this would be by design - makes no sense to have an ADMIN who cannot access things)

You can assign the permissions for View/Read to MOD. At this point, only mod's and admins can view/read it.

You can provide permissions thtough the PC's menu "Permissions", including entrance and postings. Choose "Only Mods", and that's it!
