I've seen them before on phpbb, and wanted to know how I could get them to my forumer forum. Or is that not possible through forumer?

Check that site for some add-ons and mods are entirely different thing. You need FTP access to load and install mods and skins. Since Forumer doesnt allow FTP access, it is not possible to mod forumer forums.

Well the above site has some kool add-ons, dont forget to check those.

y isnt ftp allowed .... ??....any big probs related with it ???....if we had ftp....we culd du soooooo much kewl stuff........well....since this is a free forum hosting ....i dunt think u goona giv it 2 us !!!..

well it is said (by the forumer staff) that there is a huge security issue associated with it......I think only if you allow FTP access, it is possible to unleash the real power of phpBB....I presume here in forumer we have more IPB fans than phpBB fans irrespective of its simplicity, robustness and flexibility.....after all phpBB is free unlike the IPB.....

FTP is very difficult to use with modifcations also. Forumer is also worried about people messing up their forums. Sorry.

I think that it would be pretty cool to have access to the protocol. That way we would be able to actually change the files and make it look so much radder.

Sorry, forumer just does not give accsses. There are tons of things you can do with forumer that make your forum "rad".
