Default How to edit colors and text in template
I'm having problems editing templates. Nothing changes when I edit colors in the edit theme menu.

Do I have to save the edited template as a new file to get it to display a change?

The smartBlue skin used at guest.6.forumer.com is unfortunately not customizable at all.

It is not neccessary but recommended. If you do something wrong you can revert to the original skin without removing the skin and re-installing.

I was wondering if you or anyone knows how to remove the very small dot grid that covers the whole sub Canvas Template?

Also, is it poosible to put a paypal link on pages or a picture link to my website?

Unfortunately you cannot remove it.
"Fully customizable through ACP => Styles Admin => Management" in my previous post means only that you can change options displayed in "Styles Admin".

I think you've already solved that one on your forum guest.6.forumer.com putting the link to your website in "site description". Also you should be able to use images instead of text (or as addition). Just cutomize the tag <img src="your image URL" border="0">.

hi ya all at foremers am well enjoying your free forum i was just wondering as someone has stated about changing colours in certian styles is it possible to have a list of the colours and the code you need to add in for that colour please

Be aware...

If you attempt to make ANY changes to the skins.. It may (or may not) cause problems with your board.

These problems can lead to requiring help from a Mod or Admin, or worse, losing your board.

When deciding to, or not to, make changes to your board, you need to be thinking of the risks also.

You can't change the images...

You can also only re-color the subSilver style (or at least I haven't been able to change any of the others), here is a tutorial: http://forum.forumer.com/showthread.php?t=28061

I am using Charcoal2 theme and saw other Forumer sites that allow users to have a personal photo inaddition to an avatar. I don't have this option. I saw this thread (http://forum.forumer.com/showthread....ighlight=photo that says how but those options arent available to me. My site is http://craigminah.10.forumer.com/ and the Forumer site that allows personal photos is at http://thewildbunch.4.forumer.com/index.php
