Question Can you move a post? NOT an entire thread, but just a post?

I know form my current forums it' svery frustrating when a person post something great, but in the wrong place. Which is fine if it's a new thread, but can you move a reply and make it a new thread under phpBB? It's def a feature I wish I had now.

Off the top of my head without checking where - I'm sure there's an option to split threads. I've never done it myself because I've never needed to, but I'm sure it's there somewhere.

If you mean that you want to move a reply on a topic to be a reply on another topic then the answer is you can't
If you mean that you that want to split a topic then the answer is that you can if you are the admin of the board
You can split the topic by clicking on the split topic button in the page under the topic

Please next time when asking for support provide the link of your forum

It was a general question while considering changing forums.

So in conlusion, lol, the answer is no, you can not move an individual post. Nice short and sweet answers usually do best.

Does this answer your question GMYoda?
