Many of the templates you have set are great looking. and i understand that the banner is there to promote your site, and keep it running, etc - thats all good. however, the placement of the banner in many of the templates splits the layout. I was wondering if there could be an option as to putting the ad banner at the bottom of the site. Just a thought, but itd help me personally out alot, and Im sure some others

I prefer it at the top, so it's one of the first things people see.

I don't think anything will be changed about the ads. However moving the ads to the bottom would certainly be a nice move

It would also be nice if the ads adapted to the forum style, the colors of the ads mesh in nicely on subsilver but they look horrendous on my black forum style!

If it is on the page, it will be seen either way.

In my opinion it will be seen more at the top then at the bottom. I think it should stay the way it is.

Well some people don't want to see them. For those people, an option to move it to the bottom would be key. For those that like ads on their page, you can keep in on top.

Oh right; my bad. Well, yeah, obviously, i'd like to have the ads at the bottom, but i guess it makes sense to advertise something at the top. Anyway, i don't see ads on my forum.

the whole point is to make money so the ad's should stay at the top.

you dont have ads on your forum?

isnt there a way to get refer's to get rid of or sumtin? i lost the thread on the details, but it didnt sound very promising - anyhow, i just figured if the ads gotta be there, fine. no big deal. but it shouldnt put the template layout out of place.

im not even sure if this something the admin ( I think its Magicman ) has the power to give us, it was just a thought that id like to be taken into some concideration. seeing as this thread got pretty active within a shoty amount of town, i think the community would prefer the top/bottom option

I use the macinscott2 theme and ma forum is ad-free. Damn, i shouldn't be saying this, cause now i'm gonna get ads.

You make money by having the ad in the first place. Not because its on top. Ads that will be on the page are going to be seen regardless. You shouldn't have to distort a board to make money. Unless they pay more to have it on top. Otherwise if it is visible then you can't complain. An option should be there.
