When people (including me) are notifyed by e-mail of new private message/post reply, the link doesnt contain "teamnortheast" in the url so its just a dead link http://8.forumer.com/viewtopic.(end or url was deleted my me). there is no teamnortheast after the slashes?????????

Yes you will. This is a known bug, I believe it has always been like this.
